Recycled Sunglasses for Men
OjeOje's sunglasses for men are designed and developed with the environment in mind. This means that ALL our glasses are carefully made from recycled plastic, originating from either transparent or colored plastic packaging from food, bottles, and screw caps. Instead of ending up as waste, it is crushed and transformed into cool and unique sunglasses with prescription for men. Sunglasses for men with 100% UV protection
To take good care of your eyes, it is important to choose sunglasses with UV protection. All our OjeOje sunglasses and prescription sunglasses have UV400, which provides 100% UV protection against radiation from both UVA, UVB, and UVC, and are, of course, also CE-marked. CE approval is mandatory in the EU and ensures that the sunglasses meet European minimum requirements in this area.
What does UV400 protection mean?
The filter blocks ultraviolet rays so they don't hit your eyes. Simply put, it blocks UV rays that are less than or equal to 400 nanometers long. All UV rays (UVA, UVB, and UVC) are shorter than or equal to 400 nm and are blocked by the sunglass lenses.
Avoid wrinkles with a pair of sunglasses
You have to face it: every time you're outdoors, you expose your eyes to harmful UV rays. The sun's UV rays are everywhere and are invisible. Light surfaces reflect sunlight, and even if you protect yourself under a cap or parasol, the sun still has its eyes on you. The sun doesn't feel as sharp in Nordic climes as in the south, but the sun is just as sharp here, and no anti-age cream will have any visible effect on the skin around your eyes if you don't protect it with both sunglasses and sunscreen. Too much sun dries out the thin and extra sensitive skin around your eyes, and too many hours in the sun without a pair of sunglasses make you squint in the sharp light. The first thing you'll see are the notorious small 'crow's feet' around the eyes, and these will eventually turn into deeper wrinkles. So always remember to wear sunglasses – no matter the season!

At OjeOje, we constantly keep an eye on the climate. This means that ALL our sunglasses are carefully made from recycled plastic. With each pair of OjeOje sunglasses comes a cool FSC-certified case produced in a robust and water-resistant design. We also have soft upcycled cases that you can buy in the shop and at the same time support Soroptimist Denmark. The fabric cases are hand-sewn by volunteer Soroptimists in Kolding from surplus fabric from Kvadrat. All proceeds from the sale of cases go to Soroptimist International's important work: to improve the lives and status of women and girls.

Extend the life of your men's sunglasses by cleaning them correctly. Protect our environment and don't buy spray cleaners or cleaning wipes! You can easily get clean sunglasses with lukewarm tap water, a small drop of eco-friendly dish soap, and our recycled microfiber cloth. Here's how to clean your sunglasses:
- First, wash your hands
- Use lukewarm water – not too hot
- Gently rub the glasses with a single drop of dish soap – both lenses and temples
- Rinse the glasses
- Dry your hands with a towel, and the sunglasses with a clean microfiber cloth
– and voila! Your sunglasses are almost like new – and you'll see clearly again!
