All our OjeOje sunglasses, with and without prescription, have UV400, providing 100% UV protection against radiation from UVA, UVB, and UVC, and are, of course, CE-marked. CE approval is mandatory in the EU and ensures that the sunglasses meet the European minimum requirements in this area.
What does UV400 protection mean?
The filter blocks ultraviolet rays so they don't hit your eyes. Simply put, it means they block UV rays that are less than or equal to 400 nanometers long. All UV rays (UVA, UVB, and UVC) are shorter than or equal to 400 nm and are blocked by the sunglass lenses.

You can easily get clean sunglasses with tap water, a drop of eco-friendly dish soap, and our recycled microfiber cloth. Here's how to get clean sunglasses:
- First, wash your hands
- Use lukewarm water – not too hot
- Gently rub the glasses with a single drop of dish soap – both lenses and temples
- Rinse the glasses
- Dry your hands with a towel, and the sunglasses with a clean microfiber cloth
